Dear Residents of this vast underworld,
How is everyone? May Hades smile down upon you all. He is most certainly not smiling down at me at this moment. But Hades knows all, and so I direct my words to you, my humble followers.
Life has not been very good to me. Let me assure you that as I write this I am actually happy, and that most of what I am about to say has already happened. (For fellow moderators out there, I will be posting a more personal and detailed note later in Moderator's Hollow).
So my parents have certain beliefs, and as I grow older and become more of an individual than ever (I can feel this happening) I'm starting to realize that not all my values coincide with theirs. However, they believe they are doing what's best for me, and so I was banned from most ways of communication for the past month. Before that my resources were limited, and I chose to use my scarce computer time for school assignments and the like.
Things aren't exactly perfect still, but my parents and I have definitely reached the calm of the storm. Things may still come, and there are still inevitable issues I will face. But I have been given back my freedom, and so I am back with even more vigor in hopes to lift the spirits (get it? Spirits?) of this creative underworld. I may have mentioned this before, but I am not asking for a website buzzing with limitless activity. But at this moment the average active members a day are around 2 to 3, and I wish to change that.
Finally, I'd like to give a shout-out of gratitude to these wonderful moderators who have attempted to keep this place in order, and have been gifting Hades in hopes he would help with my return (I can assure you, he did.) I'd also like to personally thank all members and all my friends (you all know who you are!) for staying by me whenever I have needed them the most and never losing faith in me.
I realize this is getting a tad too personal at this point. Ahem. I hope you will all welcome me back with open arms and few beatings, and that we'll all continue working together to make this place the best it can be.
