Chatbox Rules

The Chatbox Rules:

Hello peasants. To keep a little order in the chatbox, here a list of rules for you to follow. If one rule is broken, the punishment will be a warning, and after three warnings the rule-breaker will be banned for a certain amount of time, depending on the extent of broken rules.

1. You may only speak in English
This is to ensure that everyone knows what you're saying, and it's easier to communicate with others. Communication is key. Don't want anyone feeling left out now, do we? Especially Hades. He is always spying, and unless you are fluent in Greek or Latin, stick to English.

2. Do NOT Spam
Please don't spam. Spam includes gibberish and using too many letters. Using the word "spam" counts as spam too, just so you know.
ex. "ikerfnreiktb bneklt4nk"

3. Word Stretch and Capitalization
Do not stretch your words more than ten letters. Word stretch includes: "ERMERGERRRRRRRDDDD" and "..........."
Additionally, do not capitalize (use Caps Lock) every letter in a message. Honestly, it can be very cumbersome. Both to Hades and his faithful servan-- I mean, uh, moderators. Yes.

4. No depressing/taboo topics
If you talk about something depressing in the chat, it will most likely make other people sad too, so please avoid doing that. If you would like to discuss a depressing topic, please do so through private messaging (these topics would include death, overwhelming sadness, etc). Also, don't bring up taboo topics in chat such as drugs, drug usage, alcohol etc. Additionally, there should be no discussion of religion, politics, sexual orientation etc - anything of that sort. This could offend other people, and we don't want that, right? Of course not. Or Hades would crush you easily. No doubt.

5. This is a forum, NOT a dating site
Do not come into the chatbox asking anyone if they're single and if they wish to date you. This is not a dating site, and if you wish to find a boyfriend/girlfriend do it on another website. This kind of behavior makes other people feel uncomfortable.

6. No serious role-playing
If you wish to role-play, just join one in the forums -- this is just a place to chat, not to role-play. I mean, come on, Sic Parvis Magna has an entire forum dedicated to roleplaying, so this shouldn't even be a rule. But it is! So follow, please.

7. Have fun!
Because having fun is cool. And Hades is cool. And thus, we are cool.
And NO ONE can prove that otherwise.
