How is everyone? May Hades smile down upon you all. He is most certainly not smiling down at me at this moment. But …

Writer's Workshop Rules

Written below are the rules for the Writer's workshop. Follow these rules and good things will follow in your path to creative genius, however if you chose to ignore these rules there will be consequences. Disregarding the rules is disrespectful to everyone who wants to enjoy this creative outlet.
Please thake a look at the Site Rules and the Forum Rules before continuing. If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message. Thank you! :D

1.Please check for spelling and grammar errors before posting.

-Just read over your work before you post it. With spell check, there's really no reason to have major errors now a days.

2. Respect your fellow writers!

-Seriously, there are enough haters in the world. When you leave a comment on something don’t be disrespectful or offensive.
-Remember, not all reviews will praise everything about the work. If someone rightfully critiques your work, take it as a compliment. Usually it means that the reviewer had taken time to help you out.
-When leaving a comment, make sure to use constructive critisism. Do not just say that something "sucks."

3. DO NOT PLAGIARIZE !!!

-Every writer or aspiring writer has the ability to form their own unique creation. Trust me; you don’t need to steal an idea from somebody else.

4. Do not post multiple entries of the same material.

-Only one copy of your unique creation is needed on this site. Any more than one copy will be regarded as spam.

5. Write the rating in the post’s title if it’s above a G rating.

-Rules regarding offensive language and content are the same as the site rules: keep cursing to a pg-13 level, gore and violence shouldn't exceed a pg-16 rating, and direct references to sex are not allowed.

6. No one or two liners

-There's just no reason to only post one line in a piece of work. Elaboration is necessary for an onlooking audience to enjoy your masterpiece.

7. No chat format based entries unless needed to expand on the plot of the story.

-Chat format should be primarily used in the chat box. However, two charaters having a chat session is permitted.

8. Have fun

-The writing workshop is a place to creatively express yourself, so enjoy. :D
